Monarch DECA is an Intra-Curricular Business and Marketing organization that runs concurrently with business and marketing curriculum at Monarch High School.  While DECA is curriculum based, our organization participates in many social, community, fundraising, and competitive events throughout the year.  DECA is one of the largest organizations on campus with over 200 members!

We host several events on campus throughout the year and LOVE the support we receive from our Monarch community around school and in Superior and Louisville.

Taste of Monarch

The Taste of Monarch this year will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017.  The event runs from 3:30-5:30pm, and we ask that you arrive for setup around 2:30.  The event is free for vendors who bring food samples, and $50 for local businesses who would like to come sell or promote their products/business.  Your donation can be tax deductible since our school is a non-profit organization.

If you are a part of any local business or restaurant… we have a PERFECT opportunity for you! We are Monarch DECA, a Business and Marketing student organization at Monarch High School.  Each year we put on an event we call the Taste of Monarch, which some of you may have participated in before. The Taste of Monarch is similar to the Taste of Colorado.  It is a big carnival atmosphere with lots of food vendors giving out free samples and booths with games and company information to give to members of the school and local community.  We try to have as many food vendors as possible to help create the “Taste” of Monarch.  The Taste of Monarch is a school-wide and community event as well as a fundraiser for our DECA chapter.  This event offers great exposure for your business to your target market… Louisville and Superior residents!

We typically have around 500 people in attendance.  We charge an entrance fee and people then get to sample from each of the vendors. We ask you, as a vendor, to come with enough food samples for 500 people.  You are welcome to bring signage, and any marketing materials for your business as well.
