Ultimate Frisbee Flying High

Nearly ninety Monarch student athletes are tearing it up on the fields with the fall Coed Ultimate Frisbee season well underway. The Coyotes are competing with two Varsity teams and two JV teams each week while also training and grooming a team of rookies new to the game. The Varsity teams currently remain undefeated, while the JV teams also boast an impressive record with only one loss so far this season.

If you’ve never seen high school Ultimate in action, we invite you to come out to campus on October 14th and 15thwhen Monarch hosts the 5th Annual MoHi Invitational Tournament. About 15 teams from a dozen Colorado schools will be competing throughout the weekend and all Monarch players – including rookies – will be on a roster.

The Coyotes will also enjoy some light-hearted competition on Saturday, October 28 at the Broomfield High School Halloween Tournament when they play in costume. Otherwise, you can catch at least one game a week on Thursday afternoons when our home teams compete in League games.

Please join us for a fundraiser on Tuesday, October 24th at Chipotle from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Just mention you are there to support Monarch Ultimate and our team will receive a portion of all proceeds from the restaurant. Thank you, Chipotle!!!.

Our season will wrap up during the weekend of November 11 -12 at the State Tournament at Broomfield Commons.’Sko Yotes!
