Monarch Reading Challenge Enters 5th Year!

The Monarch Reading Challenge has expanded to include the majority of our sophomore students.  We hope that you will take the time to find out what your student is currently reading and to track their progress on the way to our 2,500 page goal.  Students will be encouraged to read on a regular basis with prizes, celebration and recognition.

If you are interested in supporting out efforts, we would welcome small donations of $5-$10 gift cards to recognize students.  If you can contribute or want to regift a card to the Monarch Reading Challenge, please send it to the MHS Library, in care of Beatrice Gerrish.

If you would like to read more about the MHS Reading Challenge, you can read out Blog here or check out the Monarch Library Website..

Teachers involved this year include Deann Bucher, James Kelpy, Geoff Findley, Bonnie Katzive and Mystayn Barnes.
