PEN’s Mission is to increase youth resiliency and parent skills by:

  • Engaging and supporting all parents, the community, and youth
  • Providing research-based information and best practices on preventing high risk behavior
  • Identifying parent, community, and youth strengths, and building on them
  • Fostering thriving, resilient youth

Monarch High PEN will hold Informational Meeting on Monday, September 11th 7:00PM @ Monarch HS. All are welcome!

Sept. 19th: 2017 Boulder Valley PEN KICK OFF

6:30 PM at Fairview High School

A Year of Strength-featuring Dr. Elizabeth Olson who will share the psychology behind fear and how we can move into strength in parenting and other aspects of our lives.

Fawnda Hathaway will be on hand to Kick Off a resiliency book group and share other book groups which parents can join throughout the year.

SEPTEMBER 14th: SCREENAGERS Documentary

6:30 PM at Broomfield High School

Documentary film screening on raising kids in the digital age with after discussion.

OCT 24th: HOW TO RAISE AN ADULT

Author, Julie Lyhcott-Haim, will present at Dawson School.

Open to the public. PEN will kick-off book groups based on book.

NOV 6th: OPIOID AWARENESS PRESENTATION

6:30 PM at Boulder High School

A Collaborative event with Fairview High where you can learn more about opioids and the impact on youth in our community.

DEC 5th: COLORADO GIVES DAY
