PTSO Meeting

We had a great Parent Teacher Student Organization meeting in September. There was a large turn-out of new parents who were able to ask questions of our assistant principal, Eric Moroye, and of student representatives from the National Honor Society and Student Senate. The meeting discussion ranged from the MHS parking situation to how to appreciate staff/teachers. We also learned about how to seek out volunteer opportunities if our child is going to apply for the NHS. Did you know that students need 25 hours of service before the winter of their junior year? MHS PTSO really strives to host meetings that give pertinent, timely information to parents. We do not just focus on fundraising and soliciting volunteers. Please consider stopping by our next meeting as you will not want to miss it.

At our next PTSO meeting on Friday, November 13, 11:30 a.m., in the main office conference room, we will be talking about parking, traffic, and school safety at MHS with Chris Wilderman, Director of Operations, Security & Environmental Services for BVSD. You will not want to miss the opportunity to hear what he has to say and ask questions about these important issues.
