Boys Soccer Continues to Build on Early Successes

The boys soccer program has sustained their momentum through the first half of the season. Varsity, ranked 11 in Colorado Class 5A, have a record of 5-1-1. Some of the highlights include two hat tricks by Thomas Volpe, over thirty saves by Hank Dalle-Molle while going over 500 minutes without a goal scored against, a double overtime draw with Fossil Ridge, and a hard fought win against Legacy.

JV, with a record of 3-3-0, continue to demonstrate growth and discipline. So far, the highlights include hat tricks by Noah Hubbard, Ryan Miller, and John Samuelson, a 9-0 win over Lewis-Palmer, a 6-0 win over Horizon, and 3 clean sheets by goalies Adrian Nii. Meanwhile, C Team has taken every opportunity to hone their skills and build team dynamics with an abbreviated schedule. With a current record of 0-4-1, the final score has rarely told the story of how the team overcame challenges to focus on player development.

Cheer on our soccer players with upcoming games including Thursday the 12th vs Poudre and Senior Night on Thursday, October 19th against Ft. Collins. Come out to celebrate these hard working boys and congratulate our seniors on their final season with the MOHI Coyotes. Free pizza and drinks to students wearing MOHI spirit wear on the 19th.
