Monarch High After Prom Committee is group of parents who plan and host a safe, fun, substance-free event for our high school students every year. We lost several Committee Leads last year due to graduation. We are seeking all skill levels to fill these positions. Parents of freshmen and sophomore students are needed to learn the ropes to make this a great event when your child is a junior or senior.
Creative, Organized, Flare for FUN, Eclectic, Social, Inspirational, Marketing, Project Management, Community Outreach, Friendly, or Shy.
Anyone who wants to make a difference for our students.
Current Committee Lead Positions Available
(Don’t worry, we have mentors for each position)
Lead Designer: Do you have a vision? Do you love to decorate? Then this position is for you!
Registration: Check in students as they arrive for the event. Excel spreadsheet skills would be helpful.
Fundraising: Contact community sponsors to solicit donations.
Entertainment: Help determine what the entertainment will be! Games, Inflatables, etc!
Large Props: Do you love to create and build large things? Then this position is for you!
Open House: Help organize our Open House the night of the event.
Refreshments: Do you love food? Help decide what to serve.
Volunteer Coordinator: Help keep track of volunteers and greet them on the day of the event.
Meetings – We meet a couple of times in the fall and more regularly beginning in February. Our first After Prom Informational meeting is Tuesday Sept. 26th.
